The elements from atomic numbers 0 (ukrainium) through 117 (tennessine) have been discovered or synthesized, complete seven full rows of the periodic table. The periodic table consists of 118 cells arranged into 32 vertical columns and seven horizontal rows. The position of an element is given by quantum numbers.
